L.I.F.E. Services

L.I.F.E. stands for Learning, Inclusion, Friendship, and Employment. It is a flexible, person-driven service for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities who want support to build the life they choose.

Overview

UNITI is proud to work with CLBC to empower people to gain skills in learning, inclusion, friendship, and employment.

With L.I.F.E., you decide what matters most to you. You set your own goals, choose where to focus, and shape your schedule. Support can include one-to-one help, group activities in the community, and planning or research support such as exploring options, comparing choices, completing forms, and creating step-by-step plans for work, learning, or community involvement. As your goals and needs change, your support changes too.

L.I.F.E. is designed to grow confidence, foster independence, and strengthen natural support networks so people can thrive in their communities. There are no fixed schedules or one-size-fits-all plans. Support can happen during the day, evenings, or weekends, and can increase or decrease over time depending on what is happening in your life.

If you are looking for a service that adapts with you, values your choices, and supports meaningful participation in community life, L.I.F.E. is here to support your journey.

To access L.I.F.E. Services, you must be eligible for CLBC support and have a referral from Community Living BC.
