Day 12: With Gratitude

Over the past 12 days, we’ve shared the heart of Harmony Apartments: stories of hope, inclusion, and the belief that everyone deserves a place to call home. You have met the families, parents, and self-advocates whose dreams of independence and belonging are finally within reach, and you have seen how collective community action can ensure that nobody feels left behind.

Today, on Day 12 of the 12 Days of Harmony, we want to remind you that work on this project has already begun.

Harmony isn’t just a dream. It’s happening right now thanks to supporters like you. In June of last year, the team broke ground on the construction site. Since then, 91 affordable, inclusive homes have been rising from the earth, well on the way to welcoming their eager residents.

Construction may have begun, but the homes that will bring life to their residents aren’t finished yet. Today, on the final day of the 12 Days of Harmony, we invite you to make another gift to help bring the project across the finish line. Your generosity will fuel the next phase of Harmony’s construction and bring us closer to welcoming our first residents.

I can hardly wait to see the faces of those first families who walk through their doors, and to watch neighbours greet one another for the first time.
