Affordable Housing

UNITI builds affordable, inclusive housing that fits the community. As a non-profit housing society, UNITI develops housing for tenants that reflects the diversity of our community—seniors, essential workers, people with disabilities, students, professionals, and families. We’ve been doing this for over 40 years, starting with our 5.5-acre Peninsula Estates property in the heart of South Surrey.

Why We Build

  • There is significant community demand for this type of housing, including from people with disabilities.

  • Our model is successful and was selected as one of the top three Canadian exemplars of inclusive housing.

  • People in the community are asking for housing options, and UNITI listens and responds to them.

  • UNITI’s housing helps build a healthy and inclusive community that benefits all.
